When coffee touches the graceful and the sensitive. A rare variety, encountered around 1940 in South Sudan and magnified by Sasa Sestic at the World Barista Championships in 2015.
Sudan Rume is undoubtedly one of the most elegant and gourmet Arabica varieties. Often compared to the northern Italian variety Nebbiolo for its truffle and stewed wild strawberry aromas, Sudan Rume is a favorite with connoisseurs. Hardly cultivated because it's demanding, fragile and not very productive, it comes from one of the world's most beautiful and renowned plantations, Finca Inmaculada, which has changed the face of coffee on several occasions. One of the best varieties from one of the best plantations... what else?
