The Natural Kent is smooth and round, the delicacy of red fruits joined to the power of the camphor reveal an aromatic complexity.
Unna’s Kent comes from the heart of Mudumalai National Park between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Located in a natural reserve reaching up to 1 800 meters of altitude, home to elephants, monkeys and tigers. Unna’s plantation (150 ha), is filled with a variety of trees such as fig tree and cardamom, where she grows Kent, Catimor and S977 varieties.
Unna’s soil, selected for its integrity and Demeter certified, produces coffees that are rare and pure. They are symbolic of a whole civilization: prayer under the sun, harmony with self and the environment, bio-dynamic methods, natural farming inspired by Fukuoka, hand picking, and meticulous post-harvest work. The Natural Kent is dried directly after the harvest, without removing its pulp, and following three successive steps.
