We have been named Roaster of the year by the Guide Pudlo 2018 - watch the award ceremony now.

Gilles Pudlowski, founder and owner of the eponymous Gastronomic Guide, is one of the central figures of French gastronomy. For decades, he has tirelessly roamed the country's restaurants, and is famous for his frankness and outspokenness.

With the 2018 edition, he bestows us with two honors. First, by creating this year the title of Best Roaster. It is rare and unheard of for a guide or even a food media, considering the importance of sponsoring from industrial coffee brands. By doing this, Gilles Pudlowski puts the focus back on quality coffee and reminds us all of its fundamental importance at the end of a meal !

The second honor is of course to reward L’Arbre à Café with this first Roaster of the Year award.

His reasons are engaging and relevant: for years, every time he was taken with emotion, struck with truth, he had ended his meal with a coffee from L’Arbre à Café. Cook of the year, Christophe Pelé, chef ** at the Clarence, is partly responsible for this, since we have had the honor of supplying him for close to ten years.
